Snowy Song

Eyes flashing out of the window
T'was snow glittering down

Awh! My dew droplets,
White flakes float in the air

White marsh mallows showered down
On tiny angel babies and kids

Healthy and the helpless,
All were out to watch the motion of sweetness

The beauty of the downfall
Ran like a shallow river

Shallow not enough to sink down my feet
And this evening, please stay.

Mighty morning surprise and misty clouds
The chillness engulfed the watery surface

And made it glazy and icy and wet
Filling the roofs and surface

On the walls leaves
Greens and rugged

Those were white tiny flakes of snow
Lying on mighty buildings

Ready to wither and slide down
Just as they delight

Love living with nature,
And love this peaceful moment

Redeemed!!

Pretty Pretty Day

I am in a pretty pretty day, enjoying life
I am enthralled, all the time
You let me go, let me go far
Hope you are well with the realms of life
Short days and short breaths, I have grown more

Party night

She was very early and rather than waiting for her friends, went around the streets towards a big mall, having bite of snacks with her earphones on. Here they came after two more hours. Happy ever, it was a new place. She was the odd one in the group and they drove from station towards the conference. It was unusual, fresh and freezing the day. Merry and Joy with buzzing music in the radio and singing in the air, they were chitchatting about songs, roads, traffic and the previous parties and the makeovers of the party tonight. She didn’t get on head many jokes but she could join the discussion fairly.

And they reached on time, meeting and greeting all the higher officials. It was usual conference explaining the accomplishments and challenges ahead. So she was asked in the break, “You have got some time for yourself. Do you love your parents so much that you can’t leave them?”. “Of course not, I don’t think I love my parents!” She replied. They all startled and laughed at her answer. I sank in thoughts, “It’s not even an obligation but I respect them all my life. I am not debating about love or respect. But I can’t love them as they love me. And I am supposed to do good for them, in return for the unconditional love.”

After the long afternoon, the conference was over and everyone was supposed to get the room keys and get ready for the party evening. “This is going to be the first party”. The Great Inn looked extremely beautiful with smart entrance with flowering plants and shimmering lights. And it looked very small though but there were hundreds of rooms, swimming pool and her room was located too far from her colleagues’. “Why not? I fear a lot. I am born with the word fear.” She strolled through the turns and doors.

Finally she stepped into the cosy room with heaters, glazing interiors, cushion bed not matching up to the levels of five star hotels, she stayed before. But it is equally royal with a greater view of a golf course.

Night built up and she had no party wears as like the other colleagues born in this country. She stepped out to the party with her official attire. VawVaw! All ladies were so glamorous and shining in the party lights. Drums and old music everywhere. Delicious country food was served and she had long talks with many ladies and men about the day, work and personal life. They were so friendly.

And her boss took over her, introducing her to distant colleagues and bosses he knew. She was amazed to see everyone partying all night with fine cocktails of every kind. Having gifted with good and decent people around, she knew her limits and cannot withstand late-night. Bidding goodnight unwillingly, she left the place for a good night’s sleep.
